Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of myresearchgraph, operated by Mangrove Technologies Inc. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf. Keep your account information accurate, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your sources and research
You retain your rights in the papers, messages and other material you provide. You must have the rights or permission needed to upload that material and have it processed by the service, including its hosting and AI providers. Access to a paper does not by itself grant permission to redistribute it.
You give us permission to store, reproduce, process and transmit your content as needed to operate the service and fulfill your requests, including creating and editing wiki pages, graphs and responses. This permission does not transfer ownership of your source material to us. Our Privacy Policy explains the information we process and the providers involved.
As between you and us, we do not claim ownership of your research content or generated outputs. This does not grant rights in someone else’s work or guarantee that AI-generated material is unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing citations, permissions and attribution before publishing or sharing it.
AI output requires review
AI can produce incorrect claims, missing context, inaccurate citations and misleading relationships. A graph connection is not proof of a finding. Check outputs against the original sources and use your own judgment before relying on them.
The service assists research; it does not provide medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. We do not guarantee a particular research result, publication outcome or number of papers or graphs from an allowance. Processing depends on the sources, request, model and amount of work involved.
Subscriptions and usage
- Free access. New accounts receive a one-time usage grant. No payment card or subscription is required to begin. The grant does not renew, and creating extra accounts to obtain additional grants is not permitted.
- Monthly subscriptions. Prices and the billing frequency are shown before purchase. Subscriptions are paid in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel. Purchasing a subscription authorizes those recurring charges to your selected payment method. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
- Included usage. Your paid allowance resets for each paid subscription period. Unused included usage does not roll over. Billing settings show your remaining allowance and period dates. A failed renewal does not grant a new paid allowance.
- Prepaid additional usage. After your first paid subscription, you can buy additional credit in a separate one-time purchase. Credit is available once payment is confirmed. Included usage is used first, then purchased credit. Unused purchased credit carries forward and remains usable after subscription cancellation while your account remains open.
- No automatic top-ups. We do not automatically purchase more credit or send a separate invoice for unfunded usage. When available usage runs out, further AI requests are blocked until you have a renewed allowance or buy credit. A request already admitted may finish past the available balance; unfunded excess is not collected from a later purchase.
- Usage accounting. Consumption depends on the work processed, including model input, output and tool activity. An interrupted request or retry can consume usage for work the provider processed. Your usage records help you inspect that consumption; contact us about a suspected error.
Cancellation and billing questions
Cancel renewal through Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period as shown in the billing portal. Canceling renewal does not delete your research or automatically issue a refund. If you cannot access cancellation or believe a charge is wrong, contact us using the address below.
Contact us for refund requests. Any cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights required by applicable law remain available. If a prepaid payment is refunded or reversed, the corresponding credit is removed; a payment dispute may suspend the disputed credit while it is resolved.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not:
- Upload unlawful material, malicious code, or content you are not authorized to share for processing.
- Access another person’s account or private research without authorization.
- Bypass authentication, usage accounting or payment controls, or deliberately disrupt the service.
- Use the service to commit fraud, impersonate others, or infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights.
Our application, branding and public examples remain subject to their applicable ownership and licenses. Access to the service does not transfer ownership of them.
Availability, suspension and deletion
The service depends on third-party hosting, AI and payment services. Features and models may change, and interruptions can occur. Keep copies or exports of research you need.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security risk, nonpayment, a violation of these terms or a legal requirement. Contact us if you believe access was restricted in error.
You can delete your account through Settings. Deletion stops subscription renewal and removes your research from your account as described in the Privacy Policy. It is different from canceling renewal: a deleted account cannot be used to access research or spend credit. Contact us about any remaining purchased credit before deletion. Billing and usage records may be retained separately for accounting and reconciliation.
Service limitations and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and AI outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer protections, remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will identify the revised version by its date and provide notice of material changes through the service or your account email before they take effect. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or consent required by law. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the service and cancel subscription renewal.
