Privacy

myresearchgraph is a research workspace operated by Mangrove Technologies Inc. This page explains how account information and research content are used to provide the service.

Account information and Google sign-in

When you create an account, we store information used to identify and manage it, such as your email address, display name and profile photo. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your account identifier, email address and basic profile information. We use that information for sign-in and your account profile.

Google sign-in does not give myresearchgraph your Google password. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or calendar.

Your research and AI requests

We store the sources you upload, conversations, wiki pages, graphs, revisions and extracts so you can return to your work. Personal workspaces and uploaded originals are restricted to the account that owns them. Public example graphs are separate from personal workspaces.

When you request AI assistance, the relevant message, conversation history, attached sources and research context are sent to the configured AI provider, currently Anthropic or OpenAI. Earlier attachments may be included in later messages in the same conversation. The provider processes that material to generate the response; its own data-handling terms also apply. Avoid uploading material you are not permitted to share with these services.

When you ask the app to retrieve a DOI, search for literature or open a public source URL, it sends the necessary query or URL to the corresponding information service or website.

Hosting, payments and usage records

We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, Vercel to host the application, Anthropic or OpenAI for AI processing, and Stripe for payments and subscription management. These services receive information needed to perform those functions.

Card details are entered through Stripe. The app stores payment references, subscription status and credit balances. We also record model usage, provider request identifiers and calculated costs to account for usage, enforce allowances, reconcile payments and investigate problems.

Cookies and browser storage

The app uses cookies to maintain your sign-in session and browser storage to remember workspace preferences and unsent chat drafts. These local preferences and drafts remain in that browser until replaced or cleared.

Deletion and retained records

You can delete maps or your account through the app. Account deletion stops subscription renewal and removes your profile, maps, uploaded sources, wiki pages and conversations. Deletion errors are shown so you can retry.

Billing, payment and usage audit records are retained separately from deleted research for accounting and reconciliation. Deleting data from the app does not necessarily remove copies already processed or retained by service providers, such as payment records, operational logs or backups. Their retention practices also apply.

Questions and requests

Contact tim.darrah@mangrove.ai with privacy questions or requests concerning your information. Please identify the account involved without sending passwords, API keys or payment-card details.

Updates

We will update this page as the service and its data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
